• A watch. Any self respecting runner or athlete should own their own watch. I recommend a Timex Ironman watch because it takes laps/splits and offers a lap recall function.
  • An activity log. It's easier to discover what works best for your body if you track your activity. A notebook, or excel document works wonders, but you can also order one off Amazon or use an established site like Flotrack, Runninglog, or Strava.
